"manual mode" within FB Messenger app
It's crazy that there's no mobile phone or tablet app that lets me "move" the camera focus. When calling into a Portal from the Messenger app, I have to accept its tracking -- which can be wrong, and doesn't let me look around the room if I need to.

Screen brightness is buggy and often too dark
Often the screen is just too dark and does not sense ambient light conditions. It will not brighten no matter what. I think I can adjust the brightness slider in settings, but for my elderly mother this is too complicated. All I can do is ask her to pull out the power lead and plug it back in again to reset things. This shouldn't be necessary.

Volume settings should be remembered
I turn the volume down and this setting should be remembered, which is generally how technology works. As it is, when I make a new call, the volume is right back in the middle position again. The ringing chime is therefore very loud and disturbs those who are near me and not on the call.

Camera tracking needs to be faster
Tracking is too slow. When I call my elderly mother, she will physically move the Portal to ensure she's in frame -- and this then means the Portal loses its view of the entire room. If the camera tracking was faster, she wouldn't feel the need to do this. I tell her not to move the Portal but, well, she's elderly and doesn't get technology, so doesn't understand or remember.

Please Make the Portal TV Camera AND display Hi Def!
720 x 486 looks really blurry on a high def TV. Please upgrade the Portal TV to be able to display in Hi Definition on a TV that supports it!

Would love to see more interactive games. Maybe even a few older kids would like.. 8 to 10 range or even older.
More interactive games. Some that would interest older kids. I love the split screen so I would imagine there should be quite a few games that could be played,maybe even from an app?

add Facebook functionality to Portal TV.
Can you add a Facebook app so that we can scroll our Facebook wall on the Portal TV, and maximize Facebook live video streams that friends have on their individual walls? During the pandemic I have been following various singing entertainers who give free concerts and it would be nice to be able to pull these up and watch them live on my TV.

I have sent an email to your support. But please please can you upload urgently more stories. They have been the best thing about the Portal for me and my family - and a life saver. For me to be able to read stories to my children and grandchildren, who I can't see in person during lockdown, has given us all something very special to be able to do to keep in contact and do something each day by reading a bedtime story. They love it, and so do I. But we need more stories urgently! we have read each…

Add Portal TV video streaming apps (Crave and Amazon Prime Video) to all Portal devices
Please add Portal TV video streaming apps such as Crave and Amazon Prime Video to all other Portal devices; currently these are only available in the web browser. Also consider adding other video streaming services such as Fibe TV, Disney+ and Netflix.

Messages reçus (Messenger ou whatsapp) invisibles sur Portal
Nous avons sur le portal une fonction sympathique pour pouvoir envoyer des messages vidéos à nos correspondant. Par contre, si nos correspondants nous envoient des messages en retour (vidéos, photo ou même écrits), nous n'avons aucune notifications, ni aucun moyen de les voir sur Portal, cela est dommage.

BUG Portal en lien avec whatsapp
J'ai pu constater un gros BUG assez gênant. Quand nous changeons la machine (tablette ou smartphone) qui héberge le "whatapp maître", le Portal lié à ce compte whatsapp se réinitialise totalement ! Toute la configuration du portal est donc à refaire de zéro. (PS, je précise qu'aux différents moments ou celà m'est arrivé, je n'avais pas de compte facebook de paramétré sur le Portal, puisque celui-ci était bloqué par Facebook)
