  1. Portal desktop & web app

    Please create a desktop and web version of the Portal app. without this older people who don't use smartphones won't be able to call in and check on their Portal. Alternatively you could let people use the Facebook messenger desktop or web app to call and check in on their portal when out and about.

  2. Volume sliders are confusing

    Why are there two sliders for volume when you're on a call? One has the icon of the telephone call, and appears to control the call volume. The other is a speaker icon and.... I've no idea. I keep it turned down and it affects nothing. i work in technology and don't understand what the second slider does.

    Some portal items are almost immediately sold out.

    We would like the option to pre-pay the sale cost, and wait to have it shipped until avail!

  5. Camera to stop following me around and focus on an object

    I talk to my mom overseas and cooking at the same time. I have to tilt my plate for me to show her what I cooked or i have to put my face near a hot pan to show her what I am cooking. AI is good if you're moving around and follows you but like others here said, we wanted to have control of the camera - like pointing out an object.

  7. Phone calls

    When I give my phone number, the system says you will return my call. That's good. The problem? I don't know who's calling.

    Your number comes up and says it's a call from California, so I dont answer. (I've gotten too many sales call from the government now allowing cell numbers to be sold, allowing sales calls. )

    RESOLUTION? Instead of this, use Caller aiD. Set up your phone system so that I get your phone number and the company name. That way, if I'm expecting a call, I will see the name and answer the call.

    No Missed Calls.…

  8. Allow Zoom and contacts from smartphone

    Not everyone has WhatsAp and/or Messenger. Would make Portal more useable. I have many contacts, clients & friends who only use their Smartphone for communication, do not have your proprietary apps.

    I am using a Portal in France, mostly in English. I notice that there are hardly any localised apps - for example, there is an Amazon app which leads to Amazon's American store. Amazon offers apps on iOS and Android for each country where it operates, and Portal should follow the same idea. There are many other local apps such as news (France 24, BBC News, etc) and streaming services like BBC iPlayer. The user's location should guide what apps are available at least to some extent. Languages are a bit more tricky because of ex-pats (I'm an example, living…

  11. Audio

    I need a remote microphone so we don’t have to yell across the room to be heard over Portal TV. I was thinking I could use my iphone as a Speaker Phone when using Portal TV via Bluetooth but I don’t see an option for that. Keep the video on the TV but audio on my phone which is close to my body.

  12. Mirror image?!?

    What I'm trying to live-stream are religious ceremonies: directionality is critically important. We can't have the viewers seeing the minister walking to the left, when he's supposed to be walking to the right; and vice-versa. Who in his right mind (pun intended) wants to see a mirror image of reality?!?

    If this problem is actually a "feature" of the Portal Plus, then I'll have to return it for refund. This was not at all explained on your website nor by the sales technician.

  13. Can you please increase the quantity of minimum orders of 4 to accomodate nursing homes with hundreds of seniors.

    These are a great idea for seniors in nursing homes. You should not limit them to 4 per order.

  15. Being able to turn off mic and cam plus cam cover is a great security option although what is Portal doing behind the scenes for security?

    What is Portal doing behind the scenes to ensure the mic is NOT accessible via hackers? I love all the features that have been added and the idea and complete concept of the Portal. I am will considering to buy for my out of state parents so they have the incredible technology to stay connected with us, the accessibility from what I’ve read seems like my parents would (in their 70s) be very comfortable using. Besides the microphone issue I have no bad feedback to submit. Customer service quality seems to be the best I’ve seen with any other products…

  16. Remember Portal TV's User Orientation Mode

    Portal TV always starts video streams with the user's thumbnail window in Portrait mode. And... I always have to switch video streams to my preferred Landscape mode.

    Code it so that Portal TV remembers and starts in the user's last thumbnail window mode chosen by the user of the account. In may case, it would always stay in Landscape.
