USB-C Portable Battery Pack Support
There's a USB-C and a detachable Power Supply. I would LOVE to be able to hook this up to a large battery pack to make this a little more portable. The Portal+ already has a handle on it. I want to move this from the kitchen to the coffee table!

I am going to try a USB to ac/dc 12v conversation cable and plug USB end into power bank - not sure whether this will work but cable (with multiple adapters) available from Amazon for about £9

Agree when will they make it battery pack compatible - as soon as I want to move the device - there goes my connection - I get adding battery support will drive up the price and it already has a move able camera but just allow an attachable battery pack - problem solved!

Not only moving from room to room, I am also thinking of using it outdoors.
I just posted an idea of having an USB power cord that can used with a battery power pack, most of us already have at least one. -

So the Portal can truly be PORTABLE. Use the USB power cord with a heavy-duty battery power pack. I am thinking of using it outdoors, such as at a special party, wedding or even kids games.
Advantage of the USB POWER CORD would be NO modifications to the existing device is needed. I can see that adding an internal rechargeable battery could be cost prohibitive. Users, most of us, already have Smartphone that can easily create a local wifi hotspot, to use outdoors with Portal.
USB power cord seems to me is the easiest, fastest AND the most economical means to make Portal, PORTABLE AND "CORDLESS". -

Haha, I also though about that right away !!! It'd be awesome to have a bit of a battery reserve, be it be from an external battery 😁
