Move the self-view window during a call
Allow users to move the self view window to another part of the screen.

As always, thanks so much to everyone who voted for this idea! As part of a recent software update, the ability to move the self-view window during a call has been added to Portal, Potal+, and Portal Mini devices. Simply touch your self-view and drag it to another corner of the screen! As this functionality is not available on Portal TV at this time, we will be marking this idea as started. Thanks and enjoy!

Yes! What Gill said! Why can we no longer move our self view screen!! Put that option back please!! It is very annoying not to be able to move it.

Like Alex, I was able to move the self view screen until recently but am no longer able to. Why is this?

let us remove the pip or move it were we want to and other features like ring tones and notifications sounds its a great product

I’m going to stop using portal if they don’t do something with this stupid self view window. I’m sick of blocking the view of people I want to see so that I can see myself. I have a mirror for that. 😡

The most annoying thing on portal is the inability to move the self view screen as it blocks the faces on the calls. Come n Facebook please sort this asap

Please remove the in picture screenshot, totally frustrating and blocks out our grandchildren’s faces. It is not required and is just frustrating.

I see these comments to move the self view window have been around since at least July 2019, how long will it be before the technical team come up with a fix, they must be selling hundreds of these, because they are out of stock every where. why no fix yet then???

I have the portal TV in the UK. Annoyed you cannot move or resize the PIP of me on the main screen. Mine is always in the bottom right. I have people on here saying it is in the top left. are there two versions out there perhaps, or am I missing a setting. The pictures on the box both show 40inch TVs with the picture in the top left, how is this possible.

I totally agree! PLEASE facebook, make it possible to be able to move the self view box. No matter which way I turn my Portal Plus, that little box always blocks part of someones face. Otherwise I love my Portal!

I have a portal and portal TV. Is there a way to disable the self view box? It covers peoples faces when I am on a call with several friends. Very annoying. Please add that as an option if it is not available.

I would agree, being able to remove and/or move, self-view would be very beneficial. I have Portal TV.
