power adapter is to big
Hi
The power adapter is to big if your tv is wall mounted it needs too be a lot narrower so it will fit the plug behind a wall mounted tv .
If it was like a USB plug and lead it would be perfect, I feel it’s just a design fault on a very modern piece equipment which a lot of people will have there TV mounted on the wall .
Please can you look into this and email me if theses a fix

Same here. Had a Portal bought as a Christmas present. As above, the plug on Power adaptor sticks out of the wall further than my TV, as the plug sockets were situated to be hidden behind the TV. I also had a problem with the connections in to the back of the Portal and had to buy a 90 degree HDMI lead as that wouldn't fit between the portal and the wall. For something which is advertised to sit on top of your TV, it is an absolutely stupid design. Both the power and HDMI leads should come out of the underneath of the Portal towards the TV, NOT the WALL and as for the plug on the Adaptor why not a normal flat plug which would fit behind the TV or as below, power by the HDMI????

same here. absolutely idiotic design. should be usb powered like every device like this. and doesnt even come with mini extension cord (not to mention an hdmi cord). **** facebook **** meta.
