I agree, my TV is HDMI-CEC enabled and auto-switches to Portal TV to answer an in coming call. However, when video call ends, I need to use TV remote to manually change input back to “Live TV”. Why doesn’t Portal TV auto-switch back to “Live TV”? My TV input is from a coaxial cable with Direct TV service. This needs a simple solution. Any suggestions?

Also, I'm not sure if I'm missing something but i always have to turn up the volume louder on the portal and turn it back down when switching back the last input.

While I agree an HDMI passthrough situation might seem more ideal, not really.
You're talking about a re-design.
That's not going to help current Portat TV owners.
But CEC can turn on the TV and change the input, can't it just change it back when we're done

Absolutely agree with this one. Create an HDMI pass thru for the portal TV unit. My TV doesn’t have CEC so I have to manually change the input to receive a call and after I end a call.

One way to do this would be to redesign the hardware to have an HDMI pass-thru. This way your cable would plug into the device which would then plug into the TV. This would also solve the problem for those who have a TV with a single HDMI port.
