Allow me to use "voice control' to place a WhatsApp call
It is annoying to be able to call only people who have facebook with messenger on their phone with voice controlled "hey portal." I keep forgetting who has WhatsApp and who does not.

Guessing this is to try to make people more inclined to use messenger rather than WhatsApp. Personally I didn't want to install messenger, but didn't fancy trying to train my gran to use a touch screen

This is not fair not to allow the Portal voice command to work with WhatsApp!! The portal usage site states: Additionally, “Hey Portal” is currently not available if you have only linked your WhatsApp account to your Portal (and not your Facebook account). https://portal.facebook.com/legal/usage/
This is very misleading!!! I have set up the Portal with both a Facebook account and a WhatsApp account, but the Portal voice commands still only work with FB Messenger contacts only and not WhatsApp contacts!! I am extremely frustrated since I purchased this product instead of the Echo Show only because it uses WhatsApp contacts.

This seems like a pretty obvious feature. Is there a reason the Portal doesn't allow using voice with WhatsApp? What am I missing?

I would really like to have this feature. there are some people who do not have the Facebook messenger app or simply people who prefer to be called by WhatsApp. Please allow this feature. I would love to be able to command Portal to call someone on WhatsApp.
