Stop auto switching fullscreen view
With a recent "update", Facebook has made a disastrous change to Portal video calling. If we fullscreen anyone in a group call with other windows smaller and on the left, faded out, the fullscreen view doesn't stay on whoever WE have chosen. It automatically changes without any user control over it, depending on whoever talks or some insane weird logic that I can't figure out.
I can no longer choose to focus on 1 person's big picture all the time (of my choice). It keeps switching the fullscreen view on its own to whoever speaks and makes the other windows small. I wouldn't recommend FB Portal to anyone now if it's going to do such ridiculous stuff. I am thinking of selling it.
At least one other person has complained about this on Facebook Portal's Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/FacebookPortal/comments/gz44ro/annoying_update_means_i_cant_see_my_niece_when/

Update: Until this is fixed, I have stopped using Portal since this horrid automatic fullscreen switching is mandatory and unavoidable. I had purchased Portal to video call and see specific people, and not let the device decide for me who it should show if there are also other people in the group call.
The device is being oversmart in switching the view on its own. There is no way to pin the fullscreen view to a particular person in a group call.

I've stopped recommending portal to people since they added this. I'll be telling people to steer clear until it's fixed.

+1. This change is very annoying. I have switched to WhatsApp group video calls on Portal since this affects only Messenger-based calling. But Portal team should take note of this and fix it asap

How can they pull this change without any option to revert to the earlier behavior? No one wants to see the full screen view changing on its own every time someone else in the group call speaks.
