why dont you make replacement parts for Portal? My sons dog chewed the cord so now I just throw it away?
You need better customer service and replacement parts. I have purchased 5 to connect my family and due to a dog, my son's is useless. How dumb is it to produce a product without replacement parts.

Replacement remote £29.99
Hope that helps anyone who's lost theirs, it's still expensive but not as expensive as buying the whole set again
They have the cables and everything there too

For a remote, borrow one and set up a Bluetooth keyboard as an accessory. It stays linked even if turned off for a while.
Home, cursor and enter keys work as expected and other keys might be useful - useful for entering text and codes. -

The power connector is a standard type. Make sure voltage and polarity are correct and current sufficient.

AT YOUR OWN RISK:
The power supply is 19v DC 2.37A. Laptop supplies are commonly available at 19.5v - which is what I'm currently using.18.5v supplies would probably work and anything a bit higher current is better than much lower. Find a suitable connector and solder it to the laptop supply lead - checking the voltage is correct and right polarity before plugging in. -

Yes replacement parts are very important if something fails. I can't believe a company the size of Facebook doesn't do this
