Add Microsoft Teams to Portal Tv

I bought a Portal TV and Portal Plus and then learned that these versions would not be supported for teams calls. The devices themselves are excellent however extremely limited in use as more and more of the video calls I am required to attend are via teams. Please extend the support to teams for these devices which would bring them back into full use for us.

I agree. Why ist the device built for conferencing at left out Teams? Facebook can be so dense and short sighted. Heasitant to by any Meta devices in the future.

Highly disappointed that Portal TV doesn't do Teams. I would have gone a different route.

We use both zoom and Teams for our meetings both with other staff as well as other 3rd party contractors. Hopefully a version of the app will be available in the near future.

All classical videoconf method should be usable: teams, discord, slack etc
Portal would really be the unique device to rule them all

Zoom now live on Portal TV, does anyone know if MS Teams is coming?

Facebook should start listening better to their customers who are willing to support Facebook new product launches instead of ignore them. Add Microsoft teams to Portal TV and stop adopting Apple's proprietary similar strategy and thoughts. Make the solution/product open to connect and interact to important solutions as Teams. Make the product open and you'll go far, don't make it and you'll loose customers that are betting on you. Stop trying to direct clients by force to use other solutions not making others services like Microsoft Teams available, make services available on Facebook app portal for all devices and you and allow products innovation and multi services capabilities and Facebook will prosper

Disappointing that MS Teams is still not available on Portal TV. I am not sure if the issue is with Microsoft or Meta. I think it is with Microsoft as they need to config their feed to support the Portal hardware and they have yet to do this! Shame on whoever is holding this up. it happened with Zoom and now with Teams.

Yeah pretty disappointing. I'm sending mine back because it doesn't have this feature... Its pretty unclear in their documentation and there is no date they could give me... could be months. could be years....
and Portal TV shouldn't really be a gen 1 product... was release the same time as the gen 2 products from what I could tell.... -

Hi, I would also like Microsoft Teams support to be added to the gen 1 devices. There is a real demand for this feature, thanks.

I was really excited to read Teams was available for Portals, only to find out later it wasn’t for the Portal TV :-(

Or allow access to camera/microphone to the VEWD browser so we can join Google meet from Browser.
It needs to have wider use cases than restricting to only 1-2 applications - it will increase usage and encourage more people to buy it.

Yes pls. You've enabled for your recent portal devices, but skipped the TV. Pls pls support those who supported you early. This is insane to leave them in the lurch like this.

They added this but skipped Gen 1 Portals.

If you want to have portal to be taken serious in business you need to add MS Teams and other MS products.
