we were in hopes that Facebook would have suggestions on what software is available that offers what Facebook Live did where it integrated with Facebook

not your fault it’s upper management and software developer that decided to discontinue the original software and not offer any suggestions on what owners of the portal systems can use

at this point in the juncture I am trying to. So I guess I’ll look at an interactive web cam and attach a secondary monitor to my computer so we can continue to perform live streaming on Facebook. Please let the Facebook team know that they have a lot of people out there that have portals and they too are in the same boat. Thank you

Same boat! Extremely frusterating

I purchased mine too just for Facebook Live. A Facebook employee recommended I buy it to do Live videos for my business and to connect through live videos with friends and family during covid. I no longer have my business but only use the portal for live videos on Facebook. I think we were deceived into buying it with the Facebook Live app for it to be removed after we bought it. In addition to the app being removed, the live video feature on the Facebook app is also disabled. They need to refund our money. I bought the top of the line model too. So upset they remove the Live feature.

I purchased my Portal specifically because it was advertised with having Facebook Live. The ads showed how it pans put to do live videos and follows you through your movement. I do not use it for any other purpose. Now that Facebook Live is removed it’s useless to me. I can log onto Facebook but the “Live” video option is also disabled. How do I get a refund for my portal since it is now a false advertisement without this feature?

Portal is useless to me without the live app. extremely disappointed you would remove something that livestreams on Facebook... can I return it now?

This decision has made this a useless frame for me. I purchased this specifically to use with cooking videos on facebook. Very disappointed and would like a refund.

I just got a notice that it goes away February 28, 2022. This is unacceptable that Facebook would take Facebook live off it's own device. WHY?? I bought it specifically for this purpose. Total waste of my money!!
