Portal pictures not looping
My portal pictures have stopped looping. If I switch off and on it will (after the designated minutes) go through my 42 photos, come to the end and then just sit there. Even after it is woken up it just comes up with the last photo. I’ve done a factory reset, I’ve deleted and re inputed the photos still same problem. On my portal I can turn the ‘display on portal’ off and on and it just runs through the photos to the end then stops on the last photo.

Added new photos through the portal album and now I have a black screen. Restarting and unplugging did not solve the problem.

same problems, i even reduced sizes of each photos and renamed it to few character each photo (now all is less than 1MB and average of 1080p)...

I was having the same problem with my Portal, contacted the company and eventually wound up sending it back and getting a different one (I think it's refurbished). This portal device is also freezing on one picture. I have tried plugging/unplugging, factory reset and manual reset, nothing works for more than a few rotations. I was hoping someone else had a different strategy for fixing this. I guess this one will need to go back too.

Also, are the photos in a portal album or Facebook album? I’ve found portal albums work much better.

Haven’t seen this issue yet as I have 2,000 photos. But there are lots of other issues reported on here like this. Consider voting for them to get attention.
