I agree. We should be allowed a refund if Facebook is no longer going to be an option on the Portal.

Portal is removing/leaving behind more features now.

The only reason I bought it is for Facebook live! I wanted to be able to cook and not touch the screen as I move! Not happy now!

I see everyone is offended here. This is soooooo bizarre. Facebook. The whole reason we purchased these portals was to do facebook lives. It's crazy that you removed that service. That's like apple removing the phone call feature from the iphones!

I feel I am entitled to a refund since the reason I bought the portal is no longer available and it was advertised to me with Facebook Live features.

I bought 6 portals and I got other people to buy portals all.for the sole purpose of facebook live. This is a Facebook portal why did you remove the app? Please put the feature back on!

Spent all this money for facebook live and can't use it anymore. I even got other people to buy it for that purpose and it's gone.

I bought the Portal+ so that my non-profit art gallery could go live from the Portal+. Now there is absolutely no way to do that. I wish it wasn't too late to return the device and get my money back.

What are the possibilities of filing a group lawsuit against Facebook over this issue? Being that a good majority of people bought the portal, for this feature and now Facebook is trying to move people to the Workplace paid service, really all it is, is a generic version for Facebook but with the forced pay to use the feature. I record on a phone to Facebook live and the portal is now a coat hanger. It feels like Facebook hustled us, like a sleazy street salesman selling an outdated DVD player. Can we sue Facebook?

I agree, the Portal is useless without Facebook Live for what we are using it.

I can only assume that the Facebook live has been removed for the new Meta world that Zuckerberg has planned. I mean why else would the Facebook live app be taken down, and not to mention the support help staff are not able to say much about it, leaving consumers asking why? Or could be a privacy law litigation or censorship...but anyway hope it comes back.

PLEASE put FACEBOOK LIVE back on the PORTAL! We have purchased several to use for incentives, and then you remove the app - which is the REASON FOR THE PURCHASES!! That is almost $1,000 that was spent for you to take it away. Do you plan to REFUND those of us that bought the Portal for the purpose of using Facebook LIVE? So very disappointed and angry that you would do that!

We have purchased 5 to use for incentives after buying 2 for ourselves. We bought the portal for the Facebook LIVE option. I too would like a REFUND if we cannot use it for the purpose that we purchased it for. That's just shy of $1,000.

I bought Portal because I loved the way FB Live worked on it, and I used it for my home based business. And then you took it away. Now I spent all that money for nothing. Why would you do that?? Please bring it back.
