Why are you removing Facebook LIVE APP feature when that is literally the only reason why I bought these two devices? I need to be compensated for this , I bought 2 $500 devices and now your taking the feature away.

Unless you have something better coming along we don't know about. This is one FOOLISH decision. Almost everyone I know with a Portal purchased it for this exact purpose. You want to be in the dust of ZOOM, G-Meet, etc. The Metaverse is nothing without the users.

I purchased this device strictly to do Facebook live. I do demonstrations on Facebook and love it. Now this is totally useless to me. Spent a lot of $$ for a device that you decided I can't use it for the reason I bought it. Please keep this feature! It is a BIG MISTAKE to get rid of it. After all this is a Facebook device and I can't use it on Facebook. Who would have thought it would be obsolete in such a short period of time. HUGE waste of my money!!!!

Aside from my child using the device to listen to Amazon music (which we can access from Amazon devices), I only use the device for Facebook Live. This was a present from my mother, and I’m extremely irritated that she wasted her money on this device since now—without Facebook Live—it will be a glorified stereo.

Devastating news 📰 please keep this feature, It’s hard to go live from my phone, screen is too small. I purchased this device because of its size and easy to read comments while Live.

We purchased our Portal Plus when it was first introduced for the expressed purpose using it for going live from our streaming studios. We would have never invested so much money into this product if we knew one day it wouldn't be good for the only reason we purchased it. It's like buying an iphone that no longer carries a calling feature. We ask that you please consider, reconsidering this decision. Kind Thanks in advance!

Not only have I recommended Facebook Portal to my friends, family and business associates. I have personally bought portals for friends and family members as well as business associates. I have told business prospects that when they choose to work with me, they will get a "Linda Button" to get the help they need from me when they need it. To deliver, I include the purchase of a Portal. I would be happy to share with your team how to get scores of people like me to make the Portal an integral part of their business model. I can be your biggest cheerleader. That having been said, please don't remove Facebook Live, Because I practically won't take no for an answer when I am basically requiring people to communicate with me through the Portal instead of phone or other video conferencing devices, I hear all of their objections to the Portal because I have to overcome them. Taking Facebook Live away, would make it a harder sell. Perhaps you are going to keep it, but just rename it, rebrand it and add features that will blow our minds, If so, this would be the time to tell us that.

Nothing worse than a device that loses features over time. Please keep it.

Don't remove FB Live from the Portal!! I have two of them at my home and have encouraged friends to buy them also MAINLY and SOLELY for Facebook Live! If Facebook does away with this feature, they will be screwing so many people out of money! The Portal is SO LIMITED on features now! Why do this???

If Facebook does this, they should offer refunds because I will have, essentially, a $300 paper weight!

Please don’t remove Facebook live lots of us need it for our business we spend lots of money on our portal and that’s why I bought it for my business.

The reason we purchased the Portal over other devices is because of the integration of this feature. Do not remove it! It wasn't working correctly, and now that it is you are dicontinuing?! Makes no sense.

Yes….Please do not remove FB Live!! The main reason I purchased Portal was precisely for this feature. I was shocked to receive the pop up notice on my portal and I had to hit OK like I was in agreement for it to go away. Will the be another way to go Live on FB with portal if you remove this APP?

We have used the Facebook live feature everyday since purchasing the portal+ in 2019, we purchased this for our business and have loved it, if this feature is taking away it would be a devastation to us and many people who have invested in this product. We ask you to reconsider and leave the ability to go live from the device.

I don’t use the Facebook Live feature on my Portal but I don’t like it being discontinued as a possible future tool, and for the many people who do use it frequently. I also don’t think a feature should be taken away with no information regarding why the decision was made.

This is one of the main reasons I bought portal. This really feels like a bait and switch. OK Facebook, prove that you actually listen to us instead of just flipping us off and don’t do this.
