1. More localisation

   I am using a Portal in France, mostly in English. I notice that there are hardly any localised apps - for example, there is an Amazon app which leads to Amazon's American store. Amazon offers apps on iOS and Android for each country where it operates, and Portal should follow the same idea. There are many other local apps such as news (France 24, BBC News, etc) and streaming services like BBC iPlayer. The user's location should guide what apps are available at least to some extent. Languages are a bit more tricky because of ex-pats (I'm an example, living in France but working in English) - so localisation should not completely cut out apps from other countries.

5. Make Facebook, messenger and youtube and alexa a full version app

   Since its a Smart display , having all the major platforms in a web version not going to work. Its ahs to be an app and in full version. Not like the Spotify which is a cut down verion. More over its a Facebook product..there should be an app version of all the Facebook owned companies like instagram, whtsapp etc

8. Baby Arlo

   Arlo video stops streaming through Alexa after a few minutes. It would be helpful to use the portal to stream baby arlo. Currently it stops working after a few minutes of streaming.

9. Please, can you add more apps to the ones that you are standard on Portal? May I suggest the app, Listen2myradio.com?

   The app, Listen2myradio. com is a free streaming service. It would be cool to have it on Portal since I listen to international radio broadcasts.

10. Why isn’t there an option to search music on Spotify?

    Just let me search on Spotify. Why is there the app if I can’t search for music. It seems incredibly counterintuitive to have me go onto my laptop/cell phone to open Spotify to create a playlist just so it shows up on my portal device. Please fix this.

11. Fix Great Big Story app

    There was a wonderful app on Portal called Great Big Story. However it is now broken. It lists videos but is unable to play a single one of them. Please fix this in an update. I love the content on Great Big Story app. I am using Portal 1st gen 10 inch, with all the latest updates installed, and as of Feb 2020, this app's videos are broken.

12. Enable casting from phone to portal

    When you're watching video on Facebook, you want to share it on Portal big screen. Should be an option like Chromecast to cast it. Facebook app can already do it with Google display devices. It makes sense to enable it for your own devices like Portal!!!

13. Add Other Video Chat Apps

    Hello,
    Please add IMO App, WhatsIUpApp, Skype etc both Android apps, so that those that do not have Facebook or the Facebook Messager App can communicate using the Facebook Portal app via those third-party apps mentioned above i.e. IMO, WhatsUp, Skype etc.

14. Connect to cell phone to read messages and respond by voice or text

    Portal could be awesome if it could connect to my iPhone for reading or listening to messages either in messenger or through regular texting app and be able to respond through voice or written text

17. Photo booth features

    Adding a feature were it can take the classic photo booth style prints, as well as being able to customize frames. Another cool feature is allowing users to create gifs with customized frames. All in all that can be easily uploaded to facebook. Would be a fantastic idea for business owners, events, and weddings!
