1. Re-enable Amazon photos

   I used to be able to say things like "Alexa show a picture of an armadillo" and a photo would appear on the screen to the great delight of my two-year-old. About 6 months ago this feature stopped working. Despite the passage of time my toddler is not over the loss. Today she asked me to call tech support which is no small feat for a two-year-old to communicate. They informed me that the feature has been removed. This is going to be a great disappointment to my daughter and I don't understand the reasoning. Why not improve my device instead of making it less functional?? Very frustrating. With the constant upgrades, I feel like I bought a product still in beta testing.

3. Add Pop-up Feature for Portal Tv

   It would be nice to have a "pop-up" feature for the Portal Tv instead of just the ring notification when a call is coming through. You can't always hear the ring, but if watching tv would be nice to have the pop-up and then be able to just click the pop-up and connect that way instead of going through all the remotes for a call.

4. Enable Bluetooth Audio play along with inbuilt speakers

   The inbuilt 2.0 speakers with woofer is super cool. But, when connected to an external bluetooth stereo speakers, ability to route audio to both inbuilt and external speakers would be a super cool feature. Of course this has to come up with an small UI change to enable/disable this feature so that users can use it according to their privacy preferences.

5. Streamline muting and unmuting for portal TV.

   It takes 4 clicks to mute or unmute on portal TV. Really annoying and disruptive since it's such a frequently used button.

   It's further confusing since there is the same icon on the remote, but it serves a different purpose and has no interaction with the onscreen mute button.

   It's then even further confusing in that the way the selector highlight moves around the controls is sometimes undecipherable. When you open the controls the selector is sometimes invisible (apparently on some unseen center location) and sometimes it appears on my own video frame (it also sometimes gets stuck there). The logic for how the selector moves across controls in response to arrow buttons sometimes makes sense, but then sometimes is unpredicted and bizarre.

   On-screen controls nav needs some UX attention and frequently used controls should be easily accessible with less clicks. These things really take you out of the moment with the people your talking to.

6. Need to add interactive chat to Zoom for Facebook Portal Plus

   Love having Zoom on Facebook Portal Plus but you cannot use the chat feature. You can only see if someone posts something but cannot answer back. They use attendance through Chat and communicate throughout the entire meeting this way. Does me no good to have the Portal if I cannot interact myself.

7. "closed caption" for video calls. My mom is deaf. this would be a great service to the hearing impaired.

   converting voice to text for closed captions would allow deaf and hard of hearing persons to enjoy the device much more. This could also be adapted to use for emergency help services. My mom can speak but cannot hear therefore if she calls 911, she has no idea if anyone is listening to her. If she could see a person and read the captions she could communicate better. additionally this would also be valuable on the regular messenger app video calls. Dang, maybe you just need to hire me. i just increased your audience by a few million....you're welcome. Just thinking outside the portal....... ;)

14. Eight Picture and Slideshow UPDATES pls

    1. If the portal is playing the slideshow and sleep mode is turned on, then when the portal's slideshow resumes, continue where the slideshow left off. (It is taking too long to get to the rest of my pictures and to new pictures!)

    2. Ability to sort/move pics from one album to another within the Portal phone app AND portal itself.

    3. Add toggle to turn on/off option for when a new photo is added to an album that is viewable, that picture is shown on screen immediately after upload. And if the portal is in sleep mode, the portal will wake up and display the newly added picture.

    4. Add an option in display settings to allow slideshow to always play. Meaning sleep mode would not override slideshow.

    5. If an album is shared with another household that is using a portal and a new picture is added, display new pictures immediately from the album the picture was added to.

    6. Allow portal users to "heart" images shared with them.

    7. If the portal is playing the slideshow and sleep mode is turned on, then when the portal's slideshow resumes, continue where the slideshow left off. (It is taking too long to get to the rest of my pictures and to new pictures!)

    8. "Hey Portal, take a picture" Allow the portal user to not only share via messenger, but also share to a portal photo album, which would then be displayed the next time the slideshow turned on.

15. Ability to turn off screensaver

    My Portal used to show a slideshow of photos throughout the day, and at night display a clock. Now for some stupid reason the screen goes blank after an hour until I tap on the screen. The maximum screen saver setting is 1 hour, I need an option to turn it off, or revert to the previous software where motion woke the screen

16. Allow Portal TV to manual zoom

    Portal TV currently does not support this great feature that is in the other Portal devices --being able to manually select the zoom amount. For some instances where you want to have a room to room experience, the auto-zoom actually zooms too much for a large TV screen.

17. Option to disable only built-in microphone in Portal TV

    Echo problem is very common with portal tv, making the experience on the other end annoying. Even with external Bluetooth conference speakers, it doesn't resort. It would be good to have an option to disable only built-in microphone.

18. When you send someone a video message using the portal, it should appear on a portal!

    When you send a video message to someone on your portal, it should show a message is waiting on your portal! I have found that it will only appear on your phone. It should be there when you open your portal. Also, add more stories for story time. THANKS!! CAROL

19. Fix the HDMI socket on the Portal TV so it doesn't block HDMI detection of all HDMI-connected devices to the television

    Start responding to your customers who are seeing this common defect - either that, or stop selling a defective product.

    Please bring back the feature to transfer from phone using messenger to a portal and vice versa. This was a great feature and was sad to see it disappear.
