This is a nightmare. We have over a dozen Echo devices in our house. Even our lounge has a Show (Echo), Echo Tall (Alexa), Dot (Amazon). With the Portal TV, we have two devices responding to 'Alexa' and for some unknown reason, the Portal TV wins in response (glowing), but its Alexa functionality and speed in controlling smart home is shocking with us waiting sometimes up to 10-15 seconds for it to action a request (such as turn on tv).

The PortalTV is a great device for Video conferencing - except it is missing functionality in Australia and has no web browser (so stupid). But a TV is mostly part of a home entertainment system with a Receiver controlling multiple HDMI inputs. So the PortalTV's weak internal speaker is not appropriate to be the dominant device around other units.

Facebook. The Portal family of devices could be massive. But not if you mess without existing environments. I have bought 6 Portals already, but I may have to retire them to less useful locations due to the conflict with existing units. Sorry, but the PortalTV is slow and crippled. Its speaker is not for music like Echo original, and having the browser not working on the PortalTV is seriously disappointing.

I can see from all these messages that many here love the Portal. Just talk to us. Give us a roadmap. If you told us X would be fixed in Y, then we'd be patient.

I hope to hear good news from you guys.
