My entire reason for getting a portal TV is that I hate being stuck holding my phone. I want to be able to move around my apartment and do my chores and have my caller follow me around. That way I won't be stuck in one room. I want it to be more comfortable to have a casual conversation as if the other person was visiting. I can do that with audio, but for some reason some people always video call me, lol! I don't think it would be that difficult to do with a software upgrade so long as both devices were on the same wifi network. If anything it could be a "group chat" with the two devices occupying a split screen on the other person's device.
