There's a very helpful walk-through when setting up the Portal. It uses blue boxes to teach how to use various features. Unfortunately, someone set up my father's Portal for him thus he cannot benefit from this nicely-done walk through.

My recommendation is add a way (maybe a "teach me again" button in the "TIPS" app) to re-start that guidance WITHOUT a factory reset that would require all kinds of other setup things like wifi, etc.

Consider doing more and simply. I notice the videos teach a feature then go on-and-on explaining advanced things. Those should be separate. Keep the basic "how-to" and make the advanced features a different video. A big part of your audience is the new-to-technology older folks that need reinforcement. By helping them you help us all.
