I used to be able to move it now I can’t please sort this out

My daughter bought this for my birthday. If I don't get any joy in getting this fixed, I'm going to dend this back and ask for the money back as it is not fit for purpose.

Why can't all participants(including me) be in tile view? My self view blocks one of the participants. Giving this a week and I will return it.

Would like the ability to move the self-view screen to any other corner. Where it is now blocks people when we talk to them. I just ordered a TV portal where the website shows the screen in the upper left. This is misleading because I don't have that feature. I did an update hoping this was fixed, but it doesn't appear that is the case. Hopefully the new one will have that feature, but I need to be able to position it!!

I’ve had my portal for two weeks and now that I can’t move the PIP I’m honestly considering returning it. If they don’t fix this in the next week I’m getting rid of the 3 I bought for our family and going back to using our iPhones to Facetime.

New portal. Could move the Inset picture last week. Can’t now and tonight it blocked someone’s face for the whole conversation

Please restore the ability to move the PIP, or make it hide. This is so ridiculous that Facebook would do this!!!!

Just adding my vote to all those asking Facebook to allow the self view window to be moved. Frustrating, having tried switching off the power and checking that the feature still works on Whatsapp on my phone

Totally agree that no longer being able to move self-view window within the frame is a real problem. Why would that capability be disabled? And if there is some reason why the self-view window needs to remain static in a specific part of the frame, why not put it at the bottom of the screen where it is less likely to be covering someones face?

As with the above comments, I was initially able to move the inset picture but am unable to do this now. Blocks the screen in places.

We were able to move the self view screen up until a couple of days ago but the feature has disappeared. Please reinstate.

I'm glad I saw these messages. A while back I wrote that the image could be moved. Then the other day I tried moving it and it didn't move. So I thought I might have been thinking of the Echo and edited my remarks about being able to move the camera image.

But now I realize that this feature was there last year and between then and now it was removed.

I'm more annoyed at the fact that no one from the Portal team responds to any of these messages. Not just about this feature, but about several other features, or lack of feature. It would be very helpful if someone just put in a comment about them to let us know if they are considering applying the feature.

One of the screens on this area has a pull down menu that shows how many ideas were done. How many were being considered and which ones where being worked on. But each time I look there nothing has changed and it is as though it is not currently tracking possible changes to the Portal.

There are a lot of comments from people asking for the "drop-in" feature and the Portal team has not made a comment on this.

The only time I've ever been able to get any kind of answer is when I called tech support. Maybe a few of us should start calling and just asking what is going on. Be respectful. But let them know that these wanted features are important and that a lot of people have a need for them.
