Include live closed captions like hangouts and skype.
For deaf users, help them out with live subtitles/transcription on screen. Your target audience is clearly grandparents and families, so do your older TA a solid...

It seems like all the tools are there and just needs to be put together. There are tons of elderly folks and even non-elderly who have trouble talking on the phone but are also not completely deaf so don’t speak in sign language. There is a huge market and once available will be a huge driver of new sales
