How can we improve the Portal family of products?

Enable Zoom & Google Hangouts Meet on portal

We are a frequent user of Zoom & Google Hangouts Meet. I currently use those services on my laptop. It would be nice if I can use Portal to connect with Zoom & GHM.

    Please add Google Hangouts, Slack and Microsoft Teams - I want the Portal to serve as the device that can be common to all the conferencing platforms that are engaging with me. I think Facebook could endure.

    Joined a Google Classroom check-in today on the Portal with my 7 and 5 year old daughters which was good although our microphone and camera were disabled. We couldn’t get them to turn on despite trying in settinga. Was a bit sad when teacher spoke to them and they couldn’t respond! Is there anything that we’re missing? How can we turn microphone and camera on for google classroom so that they can join in, please?

    So we can watch a Google meet school lesson but with no camera or microphone? Why half do it? Let us in!!!!!!

    Please enable Google MEET WE NEED FOR SCHOOL!!, put your competition aside MARK and help parents during this pandemic! You have the tech just enable the features!!!!

    How difficult can it be to allow Portal to be used in Google Meet and Zoom? The pandemic is here to stay, it will be months before we see anything remotely resembling "normality", so please make this a reality as soon as possible. I, and I'm sure countless others bought this under the impression that it would be easy to use with these services.
    Here's hoping it won't be too long before we can actually use it for what we bought it.

    Great camera but with no Zoom or Google Meet compatibility on Portal TV by end of the year, will return within my 30 day trial and only buy again when Zoom/Hangouts are available.

    Absolutely agree! This was the entire reason for my purchase was to use it with Zoom...
