i recently purchased the TV portal for my 96 yo dad who is legally blind. it's AMAZing b/c he can see us on the TV which is large. i have recommended it to many of the other people in his building BUT, he cannot operate the remote control b/c it's too small and sensitive (he also has a tremor). he uses other remote controls which are designed for the visually impaired. it would be a very simple thing to create...just larger with brightly colored buttons. i am sure you could get guidance easily on what it would need to look like. there is a HUGE market for this with the elderly. skype and zoom are too complicated for them and many of them do not have computers or their computer skills are limited.
