Bluetooth pairing UI bug
On Portal Mini, connecting bluetooth devices to use the Portal as a bluetooth speaker (from either direction) results in the Portal UI spinning forever on "Pairing..." even after a connection is established. Power cycling the portal then unchecking the option for "use this device as a headset" resolves the issue, but there's no way to access that screen while it's stuck on pairing. I tested this with a Galaxy Note 10+ running Android 10, a Windows PC running Windows 20262 using an Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 160 MHz combined wifi and bluetooth M.2 card, and an Ubuntu 16.04 PC using Zotac integrated bluetooth. The Linux PC was able to connect without the pairing UI spinning forever, but both the Windows PC and the phone triggered the portal to spin on pairing forever (regardless of whether I tried to pair from the device or the portal) until I power cycled the portal. Simply turning bluetooth off and on didn't resolve the issue. I'm glad I was able to find a workaround, but I think the UI needs to be fixed so using the Portal as a bluetooth speaker is accessible. It's a fantastic bluetooth speaker (much louder and better quality than the Nest Mini) and it looks great on a desk, so I think this UI fix would allow a lot more people to enjoy Portal as a bluetooth speaker.
