Provide below details in instruction manuals or on while setting up the device. Since I had an issue while configuring and setting up the device even thought have 15+ yrs IT background. And I receive factory settings message almost 25 mins for the first time, before even "Portal" screen.

Disconnect/Unplug the power cable from Portal TV
Hold down the side button
Re-connect/Plug the power cable back into Portal TV
Continue holding down the side button until the 10 second countdown is complete
To re-pair the remote, hold down both back and play/pause buttons for 3 seconds.
