The Portal+ would become a fantastic video-conferencing tool for small groups and individuals if an external USB controller could be developed that would allow muting at minimum or even taking manual control of the camera (pan, zoom). It is awkward to have to have to use the touch screen to mute and unmute. The automatic features on the camera are impressive, but not always optimized for meetings and presentation. To be able to control them manually from maybe 6 feet away would be very useful.
