Multi-device beta - Whatsapp - incompatible with Portal TV
I sent feedback to the WhatsApp folks and they sent a generic response with a suggestion to contact portal support directly if there was anything further. Portal Support (Rebecca) gave a better response and suggested I also share it there - so:

WhatsApp multi device beta
It seemed to work initially but had an oddity with the portal TV
A) contact names were different, as if multiple entries in address book were filtered differently.
B) calling was unreliable. I suspect related to a above. Phone to phone and messages, perfect.. Video call; my portal tv to other portal TV user only rang on their phone. Their portal tv to me, only rang on my phone, so portal TV to portal TV did not work. Tried factory reset , relink and reboot, same problem.
Left beta and relinked, immediately ok

My portal tv is forcing me to join the multi device beta to do WhatsApp calls. Once I do that calls to other portal tv that aren’t upgraded aren’t working!! Very frustrating! Now my portal is no longer letting me connect my WhatsApp unless I join the beta!! How is this an opt in??? I am literally being forced to use it and losing functionality in the process( can’t call the other portal tv)!! Anyone has any workarounds ??
