Photo App, Collaborator shared photos aren't working at all
Hi,
Let me explain what's happening quickly: When I create an album on the portal app (on my phone), and I add collaborators, I go into the album preferences and enable both options: Collaborators can add without review, AND collaborators can modify the album.
When collaborators open the portal app on their phone, they can see the album and the single photo I've added. If they add a photo, it WILL NOT appear on my phone. Ever, it's been 5 days since they added their photos. Still can't see them.
My portal frame however, has even stranger behaviour. It will rotate the photos that me and my collaborators have added on the lock-screen slide show. However, in the photos app, it does not display any thumbnails for photos added by anyone except myself. It's not an issue with internet, because if I add a photo (I created the album and it's my account linked to the portal frame), it will appear on the frame instantly.
The portal frame will say for example "9 photos" in the description of the album, but it only shows thumbnails for the 2 photos which I have added. There are 7 "ghost photos" which are in the slideshow but, cannot be managed by anyone.
For my collaborators, on their portal apps, they cannot see the photos they've added.
This is not a bug with my portal. I've tried a factory reset, and have rebooted my phone and the portal several times. I have the most recent software, and I just downloaded the app from google play. I have a Samsung Galaxy S20.
Please, feel free to contact me for screenshots, or more details. These albums are all small (under 20 photos), so it's not an issue with the 50-photo limit that others have mentioned.
Thank you,
