Child lock during call
The latest problem with Facebook Portal is that kids turn on some loud and annoying effect & then other people in group call can't turn them off. Sometimes they end the call. Sometimes they turn off the mic or camera. Clearly Portal developers didn't foresee that kids can play with it. There is no ability to lock the UI/effects during a call. Please add a simple lock or PIN so only adults can end the call or apply effects.

Facebook portal tv alexa app to play music on connected bluetooth speaker without TV being on
Currently Alexa is able to play any music on any Bluetooth speaker connected to Portal TV, but as long as the TV is on (screen is on). It would be nice to listen to music without the TV screen being on. If it's possible to use TV speakers for that without the screen being on, it would be awesome. But otherwise at least it should be possible on external connected Bluetooth speakers.

Please increase Call User Limit
During this stressful time, we are trying to keep family connected. We have a large immediate family and need more than an 8 user limit to call my 90 yr old Mom. PLEASE make this a priority!

Disable screen during a call / kids mode
I'm shocked that this setting isn't available so far although it was mentioned many times before.
Portal with small kids isn't reaching it's main goal of having a fun call with the family.
My toddler keeps ending calls and playing other features while talking with our family so I had to put the portal in a high position so that she won't be able to reach it, but because of this the camera isn't able to catch my toddler when she comes closer to the shelves and I always have to try to keep her within the range of the…4 votes -
'Do not disturb' should be recurring and adjustable (both when it starts and ends).
Every day I have to enable the 'Do not disturb'-feature again.
Also, why 8am? Why can't I choose another time?It would be good if you can adjust the start and end time of the 'Do not disturb'-setting, and have the option to have it start and end automatically each day.

remote access
I would love to see remote access app or link on a cloud account so that settings can be tweaked or adjusted remotely for a specific administrator.
The companion app is as secure as one's fb password and I do realize the portal is pretty secure because it does not have this in one way.I set up the accounts and the portal and so do have access to all that info, but do not always have access to the actual portal itself.

With extreme safeguards and settings having the ability to activate portal from the caller would be amazing as it would serve 90 year olds and dementia patients.

there used to be an option to share/forward a picture currently displayed on superframe to a messenger contact- where is it now?
also, when i initially purchased facebook portal there was a feature where you can switch/transfer videocalls: messenger to portal, portal back to messenger app on phone :(

Support for keyboard’s on Portal TV or include a keyboard on Portal app.
Have a keyboard support available for searching or input of complex info.
Maybe have an available keyboard on the Portal app.

Save and recall fixed camera positions using voice control
The weakest part of facebook portal (portal, portal mini, portal tv) is that you have no control over the camera unless you physically interact with the device (in case of the portal tv it is really disappointing that you cannot even fix the position of the camera which is annoying).
Allow users to fix the camera position in all portal devices manually, and then using voice command such as "save camera position 1" to save it.
Next time you make a video call simply say "hey portal, recall camera position 1".
This is a benefit for everyone using portal devices…

Increase target size for Answer Call
Make the answer button touch target 4x the current size. Portal is a wonderful device for elderly users. Often those users have issues with vision. Increasing the answer button size would help tremendously. (just a note - on multiple occasions I've placed a portal in a care facility, and the staff is just amazed by the ease of use - just a little more on the accessibility side, and Portal could become dominate - I've bought 3 portals myself for others in this application)

Return photos from favorite contacts to ambient mode
Before the recent update, it was possible to view new photos from your favorite contacts in ambient (screensaver) mode. This was taken away. Please bring it back! This was the only way for my elderly grandparents to view photo updates from family (as they do not know how to use a computer).
