On Portal TV allow me to decide orientation.
The orientation of the camera is controlled by the person on the other end of the call. I want to choose whether it's landscape or portrait, if there's only me in the room I want to be able to opt for portrait as the main focal point and not the wider room. This is more pertinent for those of us who don't sit within arm's reach of the TV (& therefore Portal) as I appear more distant to the call recipient.

Allow superframe / Display to remain always on regardless of the camera shutter being active
Currently the max option for superframe / Display with the shutter actively on the camera / motion detector is 1HR. I would like more options considering having the shutter off may be an issue regarding privacy concerns.
Options could include the regular (1mins , 5mins , 10mins ,30 mins , 1hr)
However options that could be included could be 6hrs,12hr,Always.
Another option could be actively on regardless of shutter on the camera between set periods IE 7am-7pm9 votes -
Whatsapp qr code size
Increase the size of qr code displayed for WhatsApp web login so that it is scannable from a distance across the room.
As of right now when I try to login WhatsApp on 55" TV I have to walk to my TV to scan the QR code in my mobile.
It would be more convenient to have to scan without having to stand up.

Using Portal at/for Family Reunions
Thinking of using Portal or another device at our upcoming 75 Annual Family Reunion but not sure if it would work with a projector?
Every year for the last 74 years my family has gathered on the second Saturday after the 4th of July. From the pictures and stories this started as picnics and has grown over the years.
In the last several years, members (over 300) of my family have created and used a Facebook private group to communicate not only for the Reunion but on a daily basis.

Offer gift wrap
I love the portal and am getting them for my family for Christmas. I noticed that you are willing to ship to any address at no additional cost. That's great, but now I seem to have a dilemma. I can send a GIFT directly to their house with no gift wrapping or send them to my house, wrap them, and pay to ship them to my relatives. Something as simple as adding a gift wrap option would resolve this problem and sweeten my Christmas season. Please consider offering this option. Merry Christmas !

Portal plus case
I really need a portal plus case as I use this during dance classes as it’s so easy to rewind, restart and change the song all with Alexa command instead of jogging back in forth to start over my song.i don’t give classes in one studio as this is all for charity and it’s healing dance. I go to the organizations and institutions and provide the classes for free.
Please help!

Recorder functions
This could be a great tool for recording videos for people who do dance, workout, or other remote training for rebroadcast. I would also like to record conversations with my grandkids during calls.

Advertise honestly
Stop advertising this as an 'Alexa' when it is patenly nothing fo the sort. Under the UK trades description act you could probably be taken to court for misrepresentation (lying to your customers)

Quelle ne fut pas ma déception... Vous proposez un produit bien manufacturé, au design élégant, mais l'ergonomie et son mode d'utilisation est incroyablement mal pensé ! Qui veut laisser au milieu de son salon ou de son bureau un outil qui autorise de rentrer en contact (de les identifier également) avec son carnet d'adresse ?? Pourquoi ne pas avoir créer une autorisation d'accès via l'app Portal ? Aujourd'hui impossible de se déconnecter sans entrainer…

Add support for Live TV streaming apps such as Hulu Live TV or Youtube TV with voice control support via Alexa, just like on the Echo Show devices.

Alexa video integrated
I was very very very dissapointed to discover that while advertised as "Alexa enabled" the one feature we wanted was to be able to call my parents on their echo show. We chose the portal over the show because the smart camera makes video chats with an active toddler so much better, but my parents already own the echo and have no plans to purchase another device. Please fully integrate Alexa or I will be sad to return the portal. If you don't integrate it, your advertising team needs to reconsider being more honest and upfront about the product's capabilities.

Allow shared filters between Portal and Messenger
Currently if I’m on Messenger and my friend is on Portal, I can control my filters (mustache, etc) and he can control his. Would be great if the Messenger shared filters were available as well (useful when talking to my kid!).

What about extending the range to include calls to users not on Facebook, Not on WhatsApp, not on a computer - like 'Skype Out' to make an audio call to a mobile or landline?
