Ability to minimize my face during group chat of 4 or more
My face blocks the top left corner when I'm in a group chat on the portal. I would like to minimize my "box" or be able to drag it across the screen.

Volume increments are too large
also I have a small feedback to file. the increments of volume are too large.
when you ask Portal to lower the volume it either selects ~10% or zero. It should have more increments between those two volume levels. Note that it took the Google Assistant team a few tries to address this feedback as well. Volume increment discoverability is touch via ambient computing.1 vote -

Mandarin
Implement Chinese/ Mandarin in the portal languages. No other system has Mandarin and there is a huge population that speaks Mandarin.

Enable all interactions with voice commands
Anything I do on the screen should be possible with voice commands. Rating the quality of a call, opening/controlling apps, and muting the microphone are all examples of things I have to walk over to the device in order to accomplish. Make it truly hands-free!

Add Portal voice command to turn off device completely
Hi, I don't want to use my device all the time. Sometimes, I go out and I turn off the device completely. But I don't know which command that can turn off device completely. I know the command "Hey portal, turn off screen" to turn off screen, but can you add the command something like "Hey portal, turn off device" to turn off device completely instead of hold a button for a few seconds

Allow people without Facebook accounts to use the devices.
We're out there, we have our reasons, and, if we're being honest, the Portal platform would probably benefit from the additional users.

Video Calls to Tech Support
You offer email, chat and PHONE support for Portal and Portal+ but no ability to USE Portal to call in for support. Why not have the ability to speak to a technician at Portal and Facebook about Portal and USE Portal to do it?
We've had video phones for years and yet I don't know of a single business you can call with one. It has baffled me for a long time. It's your product, why not help make the move to integrate video calling into our everyday world and normalize what should be an easy action to become comfortable…

Ce serait super d'avoir une fonction de détection de mouvement avec notification vers un autre appareil. Cela pourrait servir notamment pour indiquer qu'un enfant est rentré à la maison et qu'on peut l'appeler sur portal ! Très utile pour les parents qui travaillent tard !

Give Portal voice control over Portal apps
Portal has added some great apps, but does not provide voice control over those apps, which is very frustrating for a voice control device. If I have to tap the screen, and type in stuff, I might as well use my iPad. Please add voice control for all the Portal apps. I should be able to say, “Hey Portal, show me how to make chicken soup” and have a video pop up that does that, just like with the Google Home Hub.
