  3. Post firmware changelog and app changelog to portal website

    Having a webpage for features suggestions is already a big step towards making this a unique "family &friends" device.

    But you need to provide a changelog for app and device firmware so that users are aware of the changes and settings added! Otherwise it causes a lot of confusion. Maybe you can show them in the portal about tab.

    For example I noticed that firmware 1.2.1 added transparency to the caller window.. It took me to days and a reset to realize that this was a feature!

  5. This is the SECOND time I am reaching out and received no word back after the first time. I strongly feel you need to add a LOT more stories

    WE NEED YOU TO PLEASE ADD MORE STORY TIME OPTIONS. WITH EVERYONE QUARANTINED READING TO OUR GRAND KIDS IS AN AMAZING THING HOWEVER WE HAVE READ THEM ALL LIKE A MILLION TIMES ALREADY ;) .   7. Check on your own orders

    For some reason you can’t check on the status of your orders on your acccount. I had EXTREME difficulty today trying to check on two different orders going to two different countries. I did not receive confirmation for one of my orders so I had no info to supply except for my email. It wasn’t until the last person I talked to that my issue was resolved. I believe I spoke with 3 different people. VERY FRUSTRATING. What company doesn’t allow you to see your order history?!

  10. UI Customization : Allow the hiding of icons to help elderly

    Ive just given the FB portal to my mum for a trial period. It works FAB BUT if she swipes right then she gets to the icon screen.. Where there are bunch of icons..

    it would be nice to hide icons which arent needed, e.g. facebook live, websites etc..

  11. Remove the need for a Facebook or WhatsApp account.

    The need for a Facebook and/or WhatsApp account when spending a lot of money on this product is non sensible.

    Older people may not have WhatsApp or Facebook accounts, but want to be able to use this device.

    Children, who cannot sign up for a Facebook account or have a mobile phone are also unable to use this device.

    At a bear minimum, there should be an option to have a "portal" account, and so portals would be able to call other portals.

  12. Provide a reason why an account is disabled

    I have bought my Mum and Dad a Facebook Portal so we can communicate while in lockdown. After a few days their account became disabled with this message

    "Your account has been disabled
    You can't use Facebook because your account, or activity on it, didn't follow our Community Standards.
    We have already reviewed this decision and it can't be reversed.
    To learn more about the reasons why we disable accounts, visit the Community Standards."

    He literally DOES NOTHING with this account except receive and make video calls, and I uploaded some family photos to his timeline so they'd appear on…

    I am interested in purchasing two Portal Plus systems. I been looking at your features and see that you have Alexa built into the Portal. I do not use or like Alexa. My home is a complete Google home. Do you also have Google Voice built into the Portal? If not, it looks like I am going to have to use Goole Meet for my home video calls. I need to know before purchasing. -

    My portal no longer has option for incoming calls setting to allow you to set calls only to come to portal when you are home. It used to have feature that would only ring portal if my phone was at home. If I was away with my phone it would not ring on portal unit only my phone. Recently this has changed and calls are going to portal unit at home as well as my phone when I am away from home. I spoke w/ customer support and was advised that for some reason this feature was removed now only…
