Need device for face-to-face interaction with customers virtually.
We have a business that we run mostly using phone calls and our website to rent storage and commercial space to customers.
Is there any device that would allow me to interact virtually face-to-face with a push of button with customers and contractors. It would be attached to a wall.
I'd like to be able to initiate the facetime on my end via computer or similar device and have the customers face show up on my screen and mine show up on the screen at the location outside my office. Or it be so easy the customer could push one…

delete WhatsApp account without having to do a factory reset on the device
Currently, I am only able to connect my WhatsApp account to one Portal device. This is limiting as it would be good to be able to simultaneously log into multiple devices to use depending on where I am in the house. However with this limitation I need to log into one device with my WhatsApp account and then log out of that same device if I want to use another Portal device. The problem is that when I do this, the device does a factory reset and then I have to set it up again when it starts up. Very…

App for full remote access to settings
You need to add option on portal app so portal settings can be adjusted remotely. This would help as in our case mother in-law who is 90 technology challenged as well as English/ language barrier ... if we had option on app to dial into her portal and fix things like her volume for example would be a big help

Set Portal Plus to ONLY accept incoming calls on a defined default account
As an elderly user he only wants to be able to accept calls and not make them as this is too complicated at 95 years old. The system needs to be capable of preventing access to it to make calls or fiddle with the settings or wake up inadvertantly

Enable Remote Operation of Portal, perhaps by adding Team Viewer to the apps
Enable the Portal to operate remotely. My 87 year old mother can turn her Portal on and off but cannot grasp apps. She enjoys it when I operate her Samsung Galaxy smart phone remotely using Team Viewer.

Go back to the first generation design.
Go back to the first generation design. The camera on the side of the new model is stupid. It makes you look to the other person, that you are looking to the side all the time. I like the first generation model a lot better than the new model. I have bought 5 of these so far, and I like the first generation a lot better.

Please add Signal to the Apps Portal can connect to
Going back to anything after using Portal is such a sad experience. Please hook up Portal with Signal so we have some privacy with (not) sharing personal data. Signal’s take on data protection and Portal’s appear to be similar, please connect. From Signal’s info it appears one can connect to other devices by scanning in their QR Code. That simple. (Next: where is the QR Code on the Portal? I know how to scan but cannot locate the QR Code on the Portal).

Portal+ Slideshow stops
I would like the option of having the slideshow on my portal+ to stay on longer than 1 hr. Maybe give us choices like leaving it in for 1 hr, 3 hrs, 5 hrs etc. I don’t like how it turns off after just 1 hr now.

Please update the portal to interface with fb rooms, zoom and google meet. I am a Chef entrepreneur who has pivoted into virtual content with classes and content. Being able to use my portal will give my clients the premium visual they deserve. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration in this matter.

ARC no longer works after connecting Portal TV
When connecting the Portal TV to a TV that is using ARC for audio ARC stops working and there is no audio out of the TV. Removing the Portal TV resolves the issue.
This issue is going to have me return this device to the store but Facebook support requested I post this here as well so that the devs actually pay attention to the issue to potentially fix it in the future.

In the messenger app, I can see there is an ongoing video call and join it. Portal needs this functionality too.

Incoming call option , to have a voice to text option , or subtitle solution
It would be great if there was an option to have subtitles solution on incoming call, we have 6 portals in our family with 3 having people who are hard of hearing, even with the volume turn up they still miss bits of conversations .
