Make video recording longer
Photo booth only allowed 30 Sec videos. We need the ability to record as long as we like as portal is like a personal cameraman and you can record your own classes shows etc. Definitely a necessity. Please make happen. Thanks

Allow joining zoom link from browser
Currently, you need to always enter the zoom meeting ID and password to join a meeting.
Many people look up a meeting code and password in their email on the browser, however, the webpage "Join Meeting" link does not link out or start the zoom app.
Please allow the browser to launch the zoom app to connect to a meeting from clicking on a zoom link.

Zoom and Pan from the Portal App. Also manual and focus modes
It will be really helpful to control zoom, pan from the Portal App. While the AI does a decent job of zooming and panning, it is not always perfect and sometimes we want to override the default algorithm.
It will also help if we can switch between manual and focus mode etc remotely from the Portal App instead of walking up-to the portal each time.
The above features when combined in the app can provide an even superior control

Add Instagram Content
I'd like to be able to add Instagram content to my superframe, either of everyone I follow, or of specific people.
I'd also like to be alerted when any of my Instagram or Facebook friends go live, and be able to join in and watch the live content from Portal.

Please add more stories to Story Time
I saw on somebody else's complaint about the lack of new stories that it was marked as completed. There have not been new storied in a very long time! One of the big reasons that my daughter and I purchase our Portals (and I recommended the Portal to others), was for Story Time. It seems that Facebook is engaging in false advertising with the following statement: "Portal comes with a library of stories built-in, with more free stories added regularly. When a new story becomes available you’ll see it appear within Story Time automatically."

More downloadable Apps, like YouTube and disney+ and netflix
Hey there, I have just received my new facebook portal this week. Inoticed it does not have an aoption to download other apps such as Amazon music, Netflix, and Disney+ or even YouTube. Is this something im missing and it is available. Or are theses apps not available on the portal with Alexa? Which theses apps are available on the fire stick.
As im very disappointed that I would have to buy secondary device to download theses apps. Rather then just using 1 device (my facebook portal) now I would have to change the HDMI cord everytime to change it…

Interactive Games
Have interactive games available to play with the person you are talking with on the Facebook Portal. Whether the other person is talking on a phone or computer, being able to see each other and also interact by playing games. Have games available that are not only fun but also educational. While this feature would be fun for all ages, it would especially be good to have when talking with my grandchildren.

Make Facebook, messenger and youtube and alexa a full version app
Since its a Smart display , having all the major platforms in a web version not going to work. Its ahs to be an app and in full version. Not like the Spotify which is a cut down verion. More over its a Facebook product..there should be an app version of all the Facebook owned companies like instagram, whtsapp etc

Would love the ability to play other games like chess, checkers, poker, blackjack, backgammon, dominos, othello/go, connect 4, tic-tac-toe, etc with either offline, Internet, or with your video chat companion.

I have sent an email to your support. But please please can you upload urgently more stories. They have been the best thing about the Portal for me and my family - and a life saver. For me to be able to read stories to my children and grandchildren, who I can't see in person during lockdown, has given us all something very special to be able to do to keep in contact and do something each day by reading a bedtime story. Add Google Meet support for remote learning
Please add google meet app support on portal tv so that the smart camera can be repurpose for remote learning . I have been requesting this since april but it looks like facebook team are no more dynamic. If you don't act swiftly then someone will and portal tv will become another silo harware with limited use.
Zoom meeting team are listening and adding feature much faster.
Even with huge resource and team facebook looks slow in their act.

Apply Music support through Alexa, or if possible through portal
I tried to use Apple Music by asking Alexa, but it responded Apple Music is not supported on this device. Please add Apple Music support.

Allow story time to regular Facebook Messenger so people without a Portal can read to my kids who are watching from a Portal.
Make it so the normal Facebook Messenger app on other devices can start a story time. Right now only users on Portal can do this.
