  2. Introduce option to turn off warm tint on superframe

    The superframe by default shows the photos with a warm tint. Only option to avoid this is to turn off the auto brightness. This should be made configurable.

  3. Support for Keyboard, Mouse and client speaker

    With removal of YouTube app, It's too difficult to touch the buttons on the browser. Having a support for external keyboards and mouse is going to help many. Also, the option to have portal as a bluetooth client speaker should be enabled.

  4. Add Shipping to India

    Portal would be really successful in Indian market as many families have either their parents/family members living in India who can stay connected with members of their family living away from them.

  5. Incorporate Messenger!!

    I am able to use messenger to send a message to my FB family on every device except Portal. I think this would be the perfect device for my parents to be able to keep in contact with their grands but there is no way for my sister and me to just send a message to them to avoid a telephone conversation. Incorporate Messenger

    Why is it that the best effect is only on phones and not portals? What's the point of a portal if it actually does less? Add the unicorn effect.

  9. Ability to turn off picture in picture option in portal TV

    The picture in picture on Facebook Portal TV cuts off faces and is distracting. Why does Facebook Portal TV not have the same functionality of oher video calling apps come with this feature as part of its adjustable settings. Other apps like skype have been out on the market for several years now and should be the benchmark of standard features.

    Even 6 stories aren't enough. The kids love doing them but they will bore easily with so few choices.

  12. Removal of time, temperature and upload date from the photo slideshow

    Bottom of photos are shaded with a sharp line clearly visible across the bottom third of the screen. With the removal of the time, temperature and upload date, this should remove this shaded area and photos will be clearer.

    I have bought some portal tvs for my office. I can't use them unless I sign in with personal a Facebook or Whatsapp account. I need a way of being able to use the portal for a work account. Please help.

    I have more than 4k friends on FB. But I do not feel comfortable adding all of them on my Portal contact. Right now default setting is all on the Portal, it's hard to click more than 4K click manually to hide them.

  16. HDMI pass through for Portal TV

    The Portal TV seems like a great option to connect to your family, but switching inputs is too complicated a task for seniors. It would be great to have a new Portal TV that has a pass through to the traditional set top box and overtakes the image in case of a call. It would make the experience so much more usable.

  17. There should be an option to choose to call friends from Messenger or WhatsApp

    When using Portal assistant to make a call, there should be an option to choose to call either Messenger or WhatsApp.
    Example:
    Customer: Hey Portal, call John.
    Portal: Would you like to call John on, Messenger or WhatsApp?Customer: Whatsapp

  18. It would be most helpful for my mom with mild dementia to have the day of the week and the date displayed on the home page to orient her.

    Could we have the day of the week and the date of the month display on the home page. Example: Tuesday June 16.
    The time and weather are also helpful but the day and date would help seniors and dementia sufferers orient themselves to these things.

  19. Allow Portal to use Facebook Business Page followers

    We want to use Portal for individual virtual shopping and Facebook Live for shopping events for our retail store. However, Portal only connects to the personal page followers/contacts. Please update to allow Portal to access the BUSINESS PAGE FOLLOWERS.

  20. add WhatsApp favourites from app

    Allow the possibility to add WhatsApp contacts as a favourite using the portal app. Seems like you can only do this with facebook contacts.
