1. Facebook portal tv alexa app to play music on connected bluetooth speaker without TV being on

   Currently Alexa is able to play any music on any Bluetooth speaker connected to Portal TV, but as long as the TV is on (screen is on). It would be nice to listen to music without the TV screen being on. If it's possible to use TV speakers for that without the screen being on, it would be awesome. But otherwise at least it should be possible on external connected Bluetooth speakers.

2. Please increase Call User Limit

5. Use facebook portal storytime in my kids youtube channel to add

   Hello

   I like to ask about the facebook portal storytime story telling because I like to feature the stories over my kids youtube channel. I bought my facebook portal and love to play the stories with my kids faces. I think there would not have any copyright issues right since there is a Fair Use act and my kids faces are on the story telling so it is a different art work already right?

   I hope that there will be no copy right issues thanks Facebook
   Also this helps the marketing of facebook portal as well

7. Allow installing APK files from the browser or from sideloading

   The portal has an appstore however the selection of apps available are lacking. Allowing users to install APK files manually would give users access to more apps

9. Fix the Alexa settings for activation word and language settings

   Right now changing the language or trying to change the activation word in the Alexa settings does not work. So, bilingual households cannot use Alexa with the Portal device.

11. Disable screen during a call / kids mode

    I'm shocked that this setting isn't available so far although it was mentioned many times before.

    Portal with small kids isn't reaching it's main goal of having a fun call with the family.
    My toddler keeps ending calls and playing other features while talking with our family so I had to put the portal in a high position so that she won't be able to reach it, but because of this the camera isn't able to catch my toddler when she comes closer to the shelves and I always have to try to keep her within the range of the camera for my family to see her, which means that the main goal of the device is totally lost and I can't use it for the reasons I bought it for.
    It will be a huge difference!!!

    This setting is available in iPhones and called "Guided access" it allows us to keep the toddler within a specific application and it allows us to lock specific parts of the screen while using this application and even lock all the screen if needed.

    We need this setting in Portal too!!

13. Add ability to record portal session to SD card for 'instant record' ability

    We have had many sessions where our 2yr and 4yr grandchildren are particularly funny or cute...I had wished we had the ability to push a record button to save video to an SD card for later viewing!!!

14. Screen protector needed!

    Please create screen protectors for the 8" and the 10". I'm constantly wiping fingerprints off the screen and it has a terrible glare when our room is sunny. The reflection from the TV in the same room is problematic as well. Thanks!

16. BUG: Zoom + HDMI = instant crash. Only Fix: Unplug HDMI, Reboot.

    Previous version of zoom worked great to have a second screen over a usb-c hdmi adapter. This current version has never worked with a second screen. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times. Please fix this bug in the next update!

17. put on the home screen the day of the week

    Add to the home screen the day of the week (eg Monday) with the date and time. This would be very practical especially for the elderly or retired who no longer always have the notion of time.

19. 'Do not disturb' should be recurring and adjustable (both when it starts and ends).

    Every day I have to enable the 'Do not disturb'-feature again.
    Also, why 8am? Why can't I choose another time?

    It would be good if you can adjust the start and end time of the 'Do not disturb'-setting, and have the option to have it start and end automatically each day.
    This is the reason I don't recommend the Portal to others.

20. remote access

    I would love to see remote access app or link on a cloud account so that settings can be tweaked or adjusted remotely for a specific administrator.
    
    The companion app is as secure as one's fb password and I do realize the portal is pretty secure because it does not have this in one way.

    I set up the accounts and the portal and so do have access to all that info, but do not always have access to the actual portal itself.

    This might actually mean a specific portal database which would likely add to the costs, but it might be worth the cost. The Portal has got to be one of the cheapest devices (well, with the Xmas special) on the market. I'm grateful.

    I glitched on my setup of What's app, and will need to get to the Portal to fix that (check the notifications box), but I'm actually liking the simplicity of it which is a huge plus. I didn't put any of the extra apps on it on purpose so there were not so many icons on the screen. I thought I would add them on slowly when she was comfortable with the video calling piece.

    At some point, I want to activate Spotify as well. I didn't so that if buttons got pushed accidentally, nothing would be impacted. One step at a time. A remote admin account would mean that could be set up from a distance. I'm not sure how to do that so it's secure, but I can access my mobile account with a pin number and a code sent to me. Maybe something like that.
