   Yo vivo en España y tengo un hijo y una nieta que viven fuera de España. Utilizo mucho Portal TV para hablar con ellos.A mi nieta le gusta mucho que le cuente cuentos, pero en español solo hay 5 o 6. Todos los cuentos nuevos que ponen son en inglés. Les pido que pongan alguno nuevo en español.

3. Add the day and date to the display screen.

   Add the day and date to the display screen, The screen that has the time and temperature . My husband who suffers with alzheimers walks by the portal looking for the day. We used to have a device that displayed date, time temperature but don't have it any more. Day and date would be very helpful.

4. PortalTV: Zoom/Webex app and DIGITAL Signage

   Since covid times, we need a way to connect with all our front line employees that work in our grocery retail chains. The only way to social distance with our employees is through zoom/webex meetings. The plan is to mount TVs in all our breakrooms with a portal tv. Then we can have a meeting with more than one person at a time while they also socially distance themselves.

   Also, if there is a way to deploy photos and messages to each location while PortalTv is idle, then all our employees at all 50 locations will get important news by our company while on their break.

5. Stop removing features!!

   Facebook is scum. Just like Skype, they have started removing several nice features with an "update" once they've lured you to their device/service.

   I got Facebook Portal last fall and suddenly they have started deleting features for no apparent reason.

   • Can no longer manually zoom in/zoom out and pan around the screen. Camera "auto" decides for you

   • Can no longer choose which person to focus on in a group video call. It automatically switches on its own using some random algorithm.

   • Can no longer transfer calls between Portal and FB Messenger on your phone

   • YouTube app gone and ability to cast to Portal from YouTube on phone also gone

   • Some nice apps like Great Big Story for short documentaries deleted

   • Setting to route calls to Portal when you're home and to phone when you're out is deleted

   Many people aren't even aware these features existed because they are gone before they could use them

   Have you heard of making things OPTIONAL, Facebook when you do these stupid changes to the Portal's software?

   It won't hurt to give the user an option whom to focus on in a group call. It won't hurt to allow user to manually zoom and pan again. That was one of the core selling points of Portal.

   Facebook Portal now has competition from Google's Nest Hub Max, Amazon's Echo Show, Lenovo Smart Display, and soon Zoom for Home and Microsoft Teams displays. Portal team has already pulled enough dick moves with their exceptionally bad software to push customers towards other brands. So don't think for one moment Facebook that you can get away with such moves or people's next device won't be yours.

8. tv& movies option under “watch together” feature

   there is currently a “tv & movies” choice within the “watch together” messenger mobile app that is not available in the “watch together” feature on portal...

   we had hoped we would be able to watch halloween movies together on halloween since we were not going to be able to spend halloween together this year due to covid...

9. Allow separate purchase of accessories, such as additional power cord

   This will allow users to be mobile with Portal within the home i.e. move Portal from living room to kitchen, bedroom etc. At present if Portal is plugged in somewhere and the plug point is not always accessible, it means the Portal cannot move around.

11. Add search and playlists to Spotify app

    The current Spotify iteration is very limited and I suppose I understand why. But for a future update, it would be nice to either have the ability to search for songs or playlists on the app; or be able to just our own saved playlists.

    I currently play the playlists I like on my desktop PC in order to get them into my 'Heavy Rotation' section of the Portal Spotify app.

12. Disable "Rate Call Quality" Pop Up

    I know you like the feedback, but this should be something users can disable. Case in point: I placed the portal in my mom's room at assisted living and told her to never ever touch the portal. I have it on battery back up so it never dies. She has dementia and portal is a lifeline of communication. BUT, at the end of every call, the "rate call quality" comes up and she doesn't know what to do (even though I tell her to ignore it... She has dementia so nothing sticks). She touches it and messes up the portal and then it's of no use until I can get someone to reset it and fix what she's jabbed at. Please please please, let us disable this terrible pop up.

13. Allow users to move the small screen with their face to other corners like the phone app

    Portal is great, but having a bit more control over certain aspects of the experience would be excellent. Let us move the box w our faces wherever we want when using the device like we can when using the app on a smartphone!

15. Not tied to iPhone WhatsApp open

    My portal wasn’t ringing when I had incoming calls on WhatsApp. Support said I need to have the WhatsApp app open on my phone in order to receive call on portal. Sometimes I haven’t used WhatsApp in a day and have to take video calls on my phone instead. Very inconvenient.

18. Can we have more traditional stories please

    Hi - story time is fast losing relevance with my 2 kids as the new additions are unfortunately quite awful.
    The best stories are the original "featured" ones like three little pigs, red riding hood etc. Those had good characters, an interesting plot, good music, adventure, a nice modern twist, and even dancing at the end.
    The new ones have no interesting characters, most of them don't even have a plot to speak of (I would describe it less as a story and more of just a random collection of thoughts - like splat, the underwear book)... The foot book for eg is a random outpouring of unfiltered thoughts about something mundane without the saving grace of being funny (I know it's Dr Seuss but it's still rubbish), there are too many stories about belonging and be yourself and general motivational speeches that don't make sense to young kids for the most part due to lack of maturity.
    To make matters worse, good stories like Professor Right and half the Otto stories are constantly being removed. why?? Keep them!!

    I want to strongly urge us to go back to the tried and tested featured stories, that sample from old fairy tales with a modern twist because the portal is not resonating with my 2 and 4 year old anymore.
