Portal TV is a unique piece of technology at the moment which would be perfect for video calling my parents on the other side of the country. The only reason I didn't buy one the day it was released was the lack of Google Assistant integration. Unfortunately, without that, it's a non-starter.

Google idea but wont ever happen. ALEXA is the current contract for voice assistant

I dont do Amazon. I use Google home for everything and dont want to change. Most products can do both, so if that changes, I am interested in your portal.
