Drop in/Auto call for dad with disability
I bought the portal+ device for my father who recently had a stroke. Was dismayed to learn that the only way to answer is to say "Hey Portal, Answer" or to touch the screen. The stroke has impeded my dad's speech and mobility which makes the device incredibly difficult for him to use even for a simple video call.
Please, product team for the portal. Your primary market for this product are people who need to keep in touch with their family. Auto answer is absolutely a must have feature. Unfortunately, I'll have to return the device and purchase an echo show which has features more suitable for my dad but isn't as good from a video call service perspective.
