Provide a reason why an account is disabled
I have bought my Mum and Dad a Facebook Portal so we can communicate while in lockdown. After a few days their account became disabled with this message
"Your account has been disabled
You can't use Facebook because your account, or activity on it, didn't follow our Community Standards.
We have already reviewed this decision and it can't be reversed.
To learn more about the reasons why we disable accounts, visit the Community Standards."
He literally DOES NOTHING with this account except receive and make video calls, and I uploaded some family photos to his timeline so they'd appear on the portal as an electronic picture frame.
I appealed against the account being disabled but it did no good. At the moment I have £160 of portal that I can't use and no way of knowing why the account is being disabled.
How about you provide some sort of human contactable chat facility who can explain to me why the account has become disabled? Now you are selling hardware that is dependent on a facebook account your current model in inadequate
