Ergonomics suitable for grandparents, people with disability and those who are less tech-savvy
Hello
I bought a Portal TV for my grandfather. Was expecting the ergonomics to be suitable for some who older and is less tech-savvy.
We have found the buttons on the remote are small and difficult to use if you have poor dexterity and the UI is cluttered with unnecessary options.
Can you provide ergonomic hardware and an update to greatly simplify the interface?
The sorts of things that I was expecting would be
Large buttons on the remote
Options menus hidden
Removal of feedback requests
Unused apps/messaging platform hidden
Essentially following a true mobile-first design methodology.
I am happy to provide extensive consultation at no cost if you wish it adress this issue.
Thanks
Matt

The tiny remote isn't great. maybe the desktop versions are better. there are a lot of compromises to have Portal TV - I have two.... not sure if this was such a good buy!

Great ideas, I would take him up on the offer, seems like he knows that he’s talking about.
