converting voice to text for closed captions would allow deaf and hard of hearing persons to enjoy the device much more. This could also be adapted to use for emergency help services. My mom can speak but cannot hear therefore if she calls 911, she has no idea if anyone is listening to her. If she could see a person and read the captions she could communicate better. additionally this would also be valuable on the regular messenger app video calls.
