Mine is doing the same thing.

I had same issue. I logged out, pulled out the plug, left it turned off for an hour and plugged it back in.
Result!
It's the old turn it off and back on again, lol

6 pictures. My mom has dementia. Facebook counts on people not watching or paying attention to their lame functionality. In my moms case Facebook counts on my mom not remembering picture 6 by the time they circle back to 1. Accountability will come when we personally hold the companies accountable. The count on us not having the time to do so because “they’ve” got us running to keep up or not fall behind or literally fall down dead.

I hope this gets flagged because…Facebook and severely dysfunctional pseudo human in charge…you SUCK. (I should really refrain from commenting late at night. Companies failures frustrate me insensibly.)

I tried to log out all the account, and portal will restore factory setting, and then log in again, and it works. Maybe you can try this, wish this is helpful.

Hi to all those who have commented did you get any reply??? I have tried the customer service on facebook. kept going round in circles! nobody to speak to! and nothing on the portal re displaying photos on the loop.

As with all the other comments the portal is only displaying a certain amount of photos on the loop and all the new photos i have added are not working. What do I need to do as there seem to be no answers given from Frustrated beyond belief!

same problems, i even reduced sizes of each photos (now all is less than 1MB and average of 1080p)...

This is so frustrating!!! One of the reasons I got the portal and now I keep seeing the same few pictures!

I only use this as a photo frame. I created an album on Facebook and only use that one and I keep get the same photos is there a workaround

I'm having the same trouble with my 96 year old mother's Portal. I don't live in the same city, and it's been a great way to share photos, but every time I talk with her she says she's seeing the same few photos over and over.

I am exremely bothered by the photo limitations. It seems very simple to fix, so It just comes across as not caring.

Do you need facebook account to get photos onto portal Go, I've got whatsapp account added to it and also have Portal app on mobile phone but just cant figure out how to get photos from phone to portal. Thanks in advance for any help.

We bought a few portals to use as digital photo frames, as they're massively on sale due to being discontinued. Welp, we've just figured out why! I went and uploaded about 500 photos via the portal app (not from FB or Insta), and only about 25 are displaying. What a waste of money and time.

The issue is just defeating one of main features of the device! I am waiting for the software update though.

As a workaround I’m creating albums with 50 each, on Facebook, and enabling them to the portal in photos!
