Reinstate Story Time
I’m a grandparent who has been using Story Time to interact with my grandchild during the pandemic. On a call this week, we discovered that most of the stories wouldn’t launch. The few that did launch worked correctly for a few pages and then scrambled the order so that the text and pictures were out of sync. I’ve been working with your Customer Support via chat and email for three days, thinking this was a software defect that could be fixed. However, today I was told that the Story Time feature is malfunctioning because I live in Texas—? Following is the explanation I received from Support. Please clarify why you’ve disabled Story Time functionality for users in Texas and Illinois and when my Portal TV’s Story Time feature (the primary feature my family uses) will be functional again. Excerpt from the Support email informing me that my ticket will now be closed with no resolution:
“ Portal owners in Texas and Illinois may notice they can no longer access certain experiences across Photobooth, Messenger calls, and Storytime. Access will be restored once the opt-in experience is live and they agree to enable. As we do not have a specific timeline for this feature to be enable, we really do hope it will be enabled in the near future.“
When will this be fixed?
