Will AI achieve human-level general intelligence in the future?
Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), or general intelligence on par with humans, is still a ways off. Even though AI has advanced significantly in many areas, it still faces difficult obstacles when it comes to fully simulating human cognitive capacities like reasoning, creativity, and emotional intelligence. Advances in fields like machine learning, natural language comprehension, and moral judgement would be necessary for AGI. Although the timetable for AGI is uncertain—some experts expect decades or more—many experts think it is conceivable.
