    Ok I have asked for a call back three times and nothing. I have wasted hours on the chat and all the do is give me excuses and ask me to wait. They cannot solve any problems

  4. Does Portal by Facebook break any HIPAA laws? My mom's nursing home is trying to restrict use of it.

    First of all, I’m an advocate to the Portal by Facebook. I’ve been sharing this great way to communicate with others on Facebook and word of mouth. It came out during Covid19 when we couldn’t see our loved ones in the nursing home. What great timing! That’s why I bought it for my mom! Thank you!

    I cook and sell Tupperware. I bought the Portal+ because it works in my kitchen but it is so limited. I would like to see us have a remote control to tell the Portal to zoom out or in manually.

    I bought Portal to be able to interact with my family across the US. I read to my grandson multiple times per week and we have run out of good stories. Portal needs a larger selection to utilize with young children to keep the program fun and interactive.

  12. Portal should have the ‘Story Time’ in more languages.

    ‘’Story Time ‘ should be accesible in more languages.
    Like I can use it in English but should be able to go to languages and find the stories in Spanish so I can interact with my English speaking grandchildren abd my Spanish speaking ones as well

  13. Allow plugin extensions for auth services

    We use Webex for our company, but have a VPN service that uses a plugin extension to connect...without that we can't use Webex for work.

    Allow browser extensions or plugins to be downloaded please, as this is extremely limiting.

  14. Shockingly Bad Customer Service

    Portal have the worst, customer service offering of any company I have used in modern times, especially for a tech company like yourselves.

    Your AI bots, although seem rather good to start with cannot help at all when manual intervention is required, and once this is needed, the conversation reaches a dead end, and any chance of resolving an issue is gone.

    Really really bad. I would not recommend anyone thinking of purchasing this device to do so.

  15. Allow WhatsApp set up without the use of a smart phone / QR code for the elderly.

    Grandmother is almost 90, she has a standard phone. She does not like tablets or touchscreens hence why we got her the portal due to the voice commands and she can keep up with the family that is currently dispersed across the country. You should be able to create a WhatsApp account without a QR code or just the web version without a smart phone.     Please put 5 little monkeys jumping on the bed back in the rotation. Our granddaughter looks forward to this story every evening. Try explaining where it went to a two year old. We haven’t seen her in 4 months due to Covid and it’s been a nightly ritual for our family !

  18. Market to Military families and Military Installations

    Military moves, birth events missed, deployments, training exercises in the field, and adapting to new social networks are challenges for military families. Non-military spouses are also having to adjust to networking for a new job in a new area or telework to keep current job. Sometimes a Military spouses current qualifications in one state are not accepted at the new duty location.I recommend outreach and advocacy by Facebook to help with these transitions.     My mother-in-law received a Portal but is struggling to use it and has a hard time looking for answers online. She needs a user manual she can download and print out. I think many elderly users could use this. Or even include it in the packaging, again, to help elderly customers. She's ready to give it back. Thank you.
