The app iBabyCare is for the iBaby baby monitor. Would be great to use the portal to see the baby while he is in his crib!

Allow portal to cast to google chromecast or other smartest TVs.
This would allow me to put the portal video on bigger screens in my house. I love the portal experience but, the screen size is a little small for large groups trying to see the screen.

Record and send video and or voice only messages
It would be great if we could record video or audio messages and send them to our messenger contacts!
If our friends or family are not online but we want to send them something fun or meaningful that would be a great feature I think and some times people would like to just send a AUDIO vs Video

Screenshots!
Why isn't there the ability to take timed screenshots that save to your chat like Facebook Messenger does? This is incredibly disappointing. We've lost a lot of freedom switching to portal :(

The keyboard should have a talk to text option
There are many times you use the keyboard on the portal, you should make it easier for the person using it and have a talk to text option.

One touch calling
Touching a contact and then having to touch the video icon is redundant. Just have the call countdown start when you touch the contact.

Since this is made by Facebook there should be a Facebook app on this device, not just browsing to it on the browser.

Simplify the camera modes with icons
Right now camera mode in use appears briefly only after trying to change it! It would be nice if all camera modes where shown as small icons indicating which one is in use! Furthermore this would allow the users with just tapping one of these icons to change the mode rather than accidental pinch to zoom or taps on the screen

Scheduled daily Do Not Disturb period
A daily scheduled Do Not Disturb period (user can set start and end time in settings) so user is not woken up by incoming calls during sleep.

I'm very happy to see the Photobooth feature added to the Portal.
Would it be possible to have the Photobooth pictures and videos show up on the Portal when the "send" button is pressed. I think you have to use message on another device to see them. Or open a browser on the Portal and then log into Facebook and I guess go to messenger.
How about just placing some kind of message on the Portal screen that a video or picture was sent to you and then press a button to view it on the Portal?

Publish the superframe display algorithm. I have 1000's of photos so I can control what is seen if I know what will be displayed.

Allow Wifi Hotspots as a means of connecting
The Portal currently only allows for direct wifi use, however logging into a wifi hotspot requires a login which is not possible to do. When clicking on the wifi hotspot SSID, the login portal shows and quickly disappears.

Weather and Time Display
My parents have a weather/clock device that should be easily replaced by the portal. The problem is that it's small in the corner while the Superframe is displayed. There should be an option to customize the size of these icons and how much weather/forecast data that displays. Why have a weather icon if it's too small to see?

Fixed Weather and Large Clock Superframe Screensaver (no pictures transitions)
It would be great to have a Superframe screensaver option that stays on the weather display and that doesn't transition through pictures. It would also be cool to add a large clock screensaver that doesn't transition. A retro flip clock would be super cool, but just a large clock would be fine too.
