    Very sensible idea - the concept of the device is ideal for the elderly, but the current remote is completely impractical - my old dad can't see the writing on the buttons clearly, and they're too small for his old hands to operate.
    Portal TV is a great idea - the current remote lets it down badly.

    Very sensible idea: every other device connected to the TV in our house is IR and the portal one isn't.
    If IR was used, then my 90-year-old Dad could use his 'one for all', which has big and distinct buttons - instead of the silly little buttons with grey writing that come with the Portal.
