This is False Advertisement and I want a refund. Those of us who purchased it when it advertised Facebook Live as a feature should seek out a class action lawsuit if they do not add Facebook Live back for those of us who bought it after it was added and advertised as having the app. I’m highly disappointed that it was removed. It’s useless to me. I don’t care what other features it has.
An error occurred while saving the comment Darlene Moore commentedI bought mine too just for Facebook Live. It’s useless to me without it. Although I bought mine last year, I’d like a refund if it is not coming back. False advertisement now that it’s removed. So disappointed.
An error occurred while saving the comment Darlene Moore commentedSame for us. I bought it specifically because it featured Facebook Live and I was recommended to purchase one from a Facebook employee. I’d like my money back too. I bought the most expensive one just for Facebook Live. It’s useless to me now. Logging into Facebook, the option for Live Video is also disabled. So disappointed. I want a refund.

An error occurred while saving the comment Darlene Moore commentedI purchased mine too just for Facebook Live. A Facebook employee recommended I buy it to do Live videos for my business and to connect through live videos with friends and family during covid. I no longer have my business but only use the portal for live videos on Facebook. I think we were deceived into buying it with the Facebook Live app for it to be removed after we bought it. In addition to the app being removed, the live video feature on the Facebook app is also disabled. They need to refund our money. I bought the top of the line model too. So upset they remove the Live feature.
An error occurred while saving the comment Darlene Moore commentedI purchased my Portal specifically because it was advertised with having Facebook Live. The ads showed how it pans put to do live videos and follows you through your movement. I do not use it for any other purpose. Now that Facebook Live is removed it’s useless to me. I can log onto Facebook but the “Live” video option is also disabled. How do I get a refund for my portal since it is now a false advertisement without this feature?

As part of a recent software update, the ability to stream on Facebook Live has been added to Portal, Portal Plus, and Portal Mini. Simply select the Facebook Live app on your device and select Start Live Video! As this feature is not available on Portal TV at this time, we are marking this idea as Started. Thanks again to all who voted!
An error occurred while saving the comment Darlene Moore commentedI bought mine last year because it advertised Facebook Live as a feature and now it’s disabled. I want a refund for false advertisement. I can see it not an option for those who purchased it without it and then it’s added as a feature but later removed, but not advertised as a feature and then taken away. False advertisement for those of us who bought one after the feature was added.

Does anyone from Portal really monitor this feedback? Do you feel deceived from false advertisement of the Facebook Live being offered at the time of your purchase and now removed? Vote to add it back!! Bring back Facebook Live!!
