Please don’t remove photo casting from Portal app
Dear development team,
Why is photo casting being removed from the Portal app on December 6? Please do not remove photo casting function.
One of the primary reasons we purchased Portals in my family is to cast photos for my elderly mother with dementia. Showing her photos is one of the best ways to engage her.
Displaying photos on the Portal is not as important to us. Not being able to cast photos will be a big loss and reason not to purchase Portals anymore. I imagine many customers would agree.

Interactive games
Bring back the simple games. I work at Sea for 2 months at a time and it allowed me to interact with my 3 year old son. We miss the ‘don’t smile’ game.

Allow a "Read Along" feature
I have the original Facebook portal and have gifted portals multiple times to others. It is an AWESOME tool to stay connected.
One specific way I use the Portal is to read stories to children. Some of them have gotten to an age that they want to practice reading to me.
My suggestion would be a “parent/grandparent or “reading assistance” mode where the person who the story is being read to can also have access to seeing the words. This would enable me to help when the child reading stumbles on a word.

Integrate desktop zoom and portal zoom to toggle for when using for training
I am a virtual trainer. I have equipped my home office with a Facebook Portal which integrates with Zoom. When teaching, I'd really like to "switch" between the interfaces and toggle between my traditional desktop square and the television view that follows and tracks me as I teach. I know the recent update provides for doing so between app and desktop, or phone for instance and computer- but I can't find a way to do this through the Portal.

Presentation/screencast app
It would be useful to be able to run a presentation using the portal remote and have the background be the slides with person casted in front of the slides in the corner, for example. Similar to Streamlabs OBS but easier.

Multi-device beta - Whatsapp - incompatible with Portal TV
I sent feedback to the WhatsApp folks and they sent a generic response with a suggestion to contact portal support directly if there was anything further. Portal Support (Rebecca) gave a better response and suggested I also share it there - so:

It seemed to work initially but had an oddity with the portal TV
A) contact names were different, as if multiple entries in address book were filtered differently.
B) calling was unreliable. I suspect related to a above. Phone to phone and messages, perfect.. Video call; my portal tv to other portal TV…7 votes -
FaceTime App on Portal +
Apple Opened up FaceTime for android and other platforms through links starting iOS 15, it would be great if Portal has an app or support FaceTime calls through some other means like browser.

Pourriez-vous me dire quand pourra-t-on utilisé netflix canal + amazon, Disney ou les applications tv sur portal + comme chez vos concurrents car j'avoue être un peu déçu de ne pouvoir le faire vu la taille de l'écran asser propice pour une utilisation dans une cuisine.par exemple en plus des autre fonctionnalités
