  1. Facebook Live function needs to be added to Portal TV. I purchased 3 only to find its not supported.

    FB Live needs to function on Portal TV. It's got to have this function otherwise its a bit of wasted kit! especially at the price. I purchased three for our churches to stream on to their Facebook page live only to find this isn't supported. Come on guys, its easy enough to do. I've had to shelve the Portals and go back to webcams and laptops. Seriously, it seems like EVERYONE with a PORTAL TV is asking for this. What's it going to take for you to allow this function?   2. Add whole group mode for fitness instructors

    Focusing only on that face doesn’t help fitness instructors who want to use portal as their primary tool. They have to use manual mode. Adding a whole body kind of focus would be fantastic

  3. Photo App, Collaborator shared photos aren't working at all

    Hi,

    Let me explain what's happening quickly: When I create an album on the portal app (on my phone), and I add collaborators, I go into the album preferences and enable both options: Collaborators can add without review, AND collaborators can modify the album.

    When collaborators open the portal app on their phone, they can see the album and the single photo I've added. If they add a photo, it WILL NOT appear on my phone. Ever, it's been 5 days since they added their photos. Still can't see them.

  4. Passcode on all apps

    I purchased two portals so that my handicapped son could call me from his home and see me, The problem is the apps, I don't want him to be able to get to the apps except for calling. Is it possible in a future update to give the ability to remove the apps or require a passcode to use the apps ? This would be very helpful. Right now I think I'm going to have to take it away from him.

  6. Share meeting with link in Zoom

    Currently, the only way to share the Zoom meeting is by sharing the meeting ID and passcode, which is very inconvenient, and not user friendly. Can we bring share by link to Portal Zoom?

  8. Story Time ~ Please allow onscreen text to be moved by user.

    Please provide the option to relocate the Story Time script on Portal TV. Since the camera placement can vary, this affects the eye movement of the reader to the viewer. For instance, as the text is at the top of the screen and my camera is at the bottom of my screen, the distance between is great and my viewer constantly sees my eyes looking up. I would be better if the user has the ability to move the text on the screen for the best presentation. I am enjoying my Portal TV. Thank you!

  9. Add new stories to story time

    Story time should have new stories on a monthly basis and it should be clear on the app which are new.
    I would like to see more Pete the Cat (specifically "I love my white shoes" and the Elephant and Piggie books by Mo Williams or the Pigeon books by Mo Williams

  10. Microsoft Intune doesn't work - please fix!

    During Work profile setup. The app runs into a problem because it cannot connect to Google. I suspect the modified OS on Portal blocked connecting to certain Google services and it's making Microsoft Intune not working.

    Without being able to setup Microsoft Intune, many users won't be able to use Microsoft Teams!

  11. Please KEEP the Facebook LIVE app on Portal

    I just used Facebook LIVE on my Portal yesterday and today when I went to my apps, the app just disappeared. Support confirmed that it was no longer supported. Please keep it! Or at least bring it back with an update. It is the main way that I used my Portal. The Portal is not very useful to me without this app. Thank you for considerring it.

  12. WHY WAS THE LIVE APP TAKEN OFF PORTAL?

    Why would you not support the LIVE option on the portal after you new update? I purchased the Portal just for this specific feature, to go LIVE on facebook and have a camera follow me, which was a cool feature. I do not use it for anything else. WHY WOULD YOU NOT KEEP THIS ON YOUR FACEBOOK PORTAL?? Now your consumers cant even use this expensive device for what they purchased it for? where is my refund then?

    There is are hundreds of pages of suggestions yet currently there are only 4 under review, 22 completed and 2 declined.
    What's the point of the site except to placate dissatisfied customers when the product doesn't work or Facebook ***** up and make the product worse

  14. Portal mobile app should sort photos by newest first

    When adding photos via Portal app, provide ability to sort by newest first. I have more photos on my phone than the app can scroll through so I can never get to newer photos from camera roll.

  17. Please add more stories to Story Time

    I saw on somebody else's complaint about the lack of new stories that it was marked as completed. There have not been new storied in a very long time! One of the big reasons that my daughter and I purchase our Portals (and I recommended the Portal to others), was for Story Time. It seems that Facebook is engaging in false advertising with the following statement: "Portal comes with a library of stories built-in, with more free stories added regularly. When a new story becomes available you’ll see it appear within Story Time automatically."

  18. Allow joining zoom link from browser

    Currently, you need to always enter the zoom meeting ID and password to join a meeting.

    Many people look up a meeting code and password in their email on the browser, however, the webpage "Join Meeting" link does not link out or start the zoom app.

    Please allow the browser to launch the zoom app to connect to a meeting from clicking on a zoom link.

  19. Alexa enabled device announcements

    Portal can neither be added as one of the group speaker nor can be used as display for security cameras. Every time my WiFi bell rings or there is a person detection on one of my cameras, I need to wake alexa in my portal and ask her to show that cam feed. However, with other smart displays, this can be automated. Its a too good feature making Portal a one stop solution for all Home displays.

  20. Photo casting

    Development team,

    Please do not remove photo casting on December 6.

    Photo casting sets you above other videocalling platforms.

    The Portal needs the photo casting function, otherwise you might as well just FaceTime and screen share.

    Removing photo casting is not a good way to keep customers on board or attract new ones.
